Swinburne Sarawak empowers senior citizens through digital training
On May 16, 2022, the Digital Technologies Seniors Program (DTSP) project team from Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus (Swinburne Sarawak) held its first in-person cyber-training event on its campus. The training was attended by 37 members of the Sarawak Gerontology and Geriatric Society (SGGS). The goal of the program is to help senior citizens become more digitally literate and self-sufficient, thereby improving their quality of life. Additionally, the program aims to foster intergenerational relationships and support by providing an opportunity for seniors to share their life experiences with younger generations. By participating in this program, seniors can help leave a positive legacy for future generations.
