About Us
The Digital Technologies Seniors Program, co-developed between Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak, Malaysia and Persatuan Kebajikan Rolf Schnyder bridges the generational gap between youths and senior citizens through technology coaching and reciprocal mentorship. Our goal is to bring together young people and senior citizens through technology training and mentorship, helping to bridge the generational gap and create a sustainable support system for both groups.
By participating in this program, both youths and senior citizens can gain valuable skills and knowledge, while also providing each other with valuable support and guidance.
Our Objective
Empowering, Mentoring and Coaching Senior Citizens in Technology and reciprocally, be mentored by senior citizens.
Our Services
Our Cyber-Ambassadors (mentors or coaches) are trained in empathy and patience to slowly teach senior citizens and are committed to serve with passion and compassion. Our objective is to help the senior citizens in our community to go digital. We are committed to help them overcome the digital challenges which they face : Basic smartphone usage and optimizing their usage of apps so as to enrich their lives.
