On April 13, 2023, the Digital Seniors Program (DTSP) team conducted an online training session for seniors in Sibu. The training covered essential topics such as activating the SOS function on mobile phones, phone settings, and phone storage management. A total of 48 seniors attended the training.

The training was led by Phoebe and Kelly, who provided instruction on activating the SOS function and phone settings. Nicky and Chon Jii then delivered training on phone storage management.

The seniors displayed great enthusiasm during the training and expressed a keen interest in learning how to use their mobile phones effectively. They were particularly eager to learn about activating the SOS function, which enables them to quickly call for help in emergencies.

The DTSP team comprising of 4 DTSP coaches and 3 DTSP facilitators were delighted with the turnout for the training and is excited to continue offering similar sessions for seniors in the future. The team remains committed to assisting seniors in learning how to use technology safely and effectively.
