Swinburne Sarawak Empowers Senior Citizens Through Digital Training

Swinburne Sarawak empowers senior citizens through digital training

The Digital Technologies Seniors Program (DTSP) project team from Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus (Swinburne Sarawak) held its first ever in-person cyber-training on its campus for 37 members of the Sarawak Gerontology and Geriatric Society (SGGS) on the 16th of May 2022. This program aims to help senior citizens go digital and be self-reliant to enhance their quality of life besides cultivating intergenerational relationship and support. Seniors reciprocate by giving youths lessons in life to leave a positive legacy in the next generation.
